Whether you're trading midnight messages with your circle or meeting moms from a local community for a playdate, Kinship is about real friendship.
Yes, for your first year. Every mom who joins Kinship now is a founding member, and a founding member's first year is free, with every part of Kinship included.
Your free year starts when you're matched with your circle, not when you sign up.
Every path into motherhood is real and welcome. Kinship is for expecting moms, new moms, and experienced moms — including those navigating adoption, fostering, and the journey to motherhood.

How we find your circle.
Once you download the app and answer a few quick questions about your stage and your life, our algorithm goes to work. You'll then be matched with a small group of moms we think you'll hit it off with.
Stage comes first. If you're expecting, we match you with moms whose due dates are close to yours. If you have a baby or child, including through adoption, we match you with moms whose children are close in age. Then we look for moms whose lives look like yours: your age, whether you're working or at home, whether you're a first-time mom, and the interests you share.
Friendship is personal. If you feel your current circle isn't quite the right match, you can request to join a new one at any time. We're here to help you find the women you actually click with.
A walled garden, by design.
Never. Kinship is a walled garden. Your name, photo, and posts are only visible to verified members within the community — never to the public, and never indexed by search engines.
Every member is verified by phone before they are matched. We have a zero-tolerance policy for drama or judgment, and a real human on our team reviews every report within 24 hours.
What it actually feels like.
The typical group is between 15 and 20 moms. It's sized for real conversation — not a noisy broadcast.
Currently, each mom joins one primary Kinship circle. As we grow, we plan to allow moms to join additional circles for each of their children.
Yes. Local Kinship communities open city by city as moms join. That's where moms post local events and playdates, and where you can plan get-togethers of your own.
